Dr. Eric Headley, who owns Chevy Chase Animal Clinic , received his Bachelors of Animal Science from The University of Kentucky and his DVM from Tuskegee University.
Dr. Headley is widely regarded as one of Kentucky’s finest diagnosticians and has been awarded “Best Veterinarian in Lexington” numerous times. He provides Veterinary care for several community service projects and is active in the local humane society and other charitable organizations. Dr. Headley has a huge heart for all animals.
Dr. Sarah Conrad Blanchett
Dr. Sarah Conrad Blanchett is a native Lexingtonian and received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Iowa State University in 2014. She has advanced degrees in Certified Canine Rehabilitation and Acupuncture. Sarah has a passion for working closely with her patients to provide them proper therapy for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. When she isn’t working, she stays busy taking care of her husband, four kids, and two dogs.
As the daughter of an equine veterinarian, veterinary medicine has always been a part of Dr. Beth Blackey’s life. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College, Beth explored other industries briefly, before ultimately deciding to return to her passion of caring for animals. Dr. Blackey earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Auburn University, and practiced in Louisville for a few years, prior to returning home to Lexington. In practice, she prioritizes effective communication of care that is attainable and achievable to the busy owner, giving our pets the best quality of life. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys playing tennis, puzzles, and spending time with her family and Jack Russell Terrier, Delta Dawn.
