Dr. Headley, who owns Chevy Chase Animal Clinic, received his Bachelors of Animal Science from the University of Kentucky and his DVM from Tuskegee University.

Dr. Headley is active in several community service projects such as Friends of Animals, Lexington Humane Society Outreach Program and provides veterinary care for the local humane societies and other charitable organizations.

Dr. Kimmerer, a California native, received her Bachelor of Science Degree from New Mexico Tech and her DVM and MPVM degrees from the University of California at Davis. She completed her internship at Cornell University.

Dr. Kimmerer and her husband, Tom, have three children.

Dr. Egan is a Lexington native and graduated from the University of Kentucky and was awarded her DVM from Auburn University. She and her husband, John, returned to Lexington with their family of 5 cats and 2 dogs.

Dr. Egan has a lifelong love for animals and in her spare time she enjoys hiking with her dogs, reading, traveling and taking naps with the cats.

Dr. Bidwell received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas and her DVM from Michigan State University. She is a diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesiologists and is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. Dr. Bidwell also serves as a Veterinary practice consultant.

In her free time, Dr. Bidwell enjoys riding, running and occasionally, fox hunting.

Our staff has been carefully chosen to provide the best care for your pet. All staff members participate in continuing education programs and have special interests or areas of expertise within the practice. Many of our staff members are pre-vet or vet students. And of course, all have pets.
