Dr. Eric HeadleyDr. Headley received his Bachelor's of Animal Science from The University of Kentucky and his DVM from Tuskegee University. Dr. Headley is widely regarded as one of Kentucky's finest diagnosticians with a no -nonsense approach. He has also been awarded "Best Veterinarian in Lexington" numerous times. Dr. Headley provides veterinary care for several community service projects and is active in the local humane society and other charitable organizations. He has a huge heart for his clients and all animals! |
Dr. Lauren CuffeDr. Cuffe is originally from Lexington. She received her Bachelor's of Animal Science from the University of Kentucky and minored in Wilderness Studies at the University of Montana. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. After graduation, she joined an integrative small animal hospital in Eugene, OR where she practiced for 2 years. She returned to the bluegrass in June 2020 and has practiced in Versailles, KY until joining the team at Chevy Chase Animal Clinic. Dr. Cuffe now lives in Lexington with her husband, daughter and 2 dogs. Dr. Cuffe is a Fear Free Certified Professional and loves working to decrease the stress of vet visits for her patients and clients. She enjoys wellness and preventative care, dermatology and dentistry. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, running, gardening, biking and doing anything outdoors.

Dr. Sarah BlanchettDr. Sarah Blanchett is a native Lexingtonian and received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Iowa State University in 2014. She has advanced degrees in Certified Canine Rehabilitation and Acupuncture. Sarah has a passion for working closely with her patients to provide them proper therapy for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. When she isn't working, she stays busy taking care of her husband, four kids, three dogs and two guinea pigs.

Dr. Cooper HeadleyHe may be the newest Doctor on staff, but Dr. Cooper Headley has been an employee at Chevy Chase since before becoming a veterinarian himself. Cooper grew up in Lexington and worked as a technician before attending Auburn University where he received his degree in animal science. He went on to earn his DVM from Tuskegee University in 2021. Dr. Cooper has a huge heart for shelter and rescued animals having two rescues dogs himself, Winnie and Boo! In his spare time he loves to get outside, grill out and watch any Kentucky sports. |
